SNORS is looking to expand the charity and to move it to large permanently owned premises, ensuring its long term future.
To do this we need to purchase premises capable of allowing the charity to grow, providing bigger and better rabbit facilities and the ability to accommodate more rabbits. This will not only secure the charity’s future but enable us to offer sanctuary to many more special needs rabbits for years to come.
To do this we have set up a dedicated ‘Building Fund’ with the massively aspirational target of £400k, that’s why we have called this ‘wishing for a miracle’ This would allow us to buy a building with plenty of land and provide customised rabbit facilities.
A new site would also allow SNORS to host on-site public events aimed at improving the public’s knowledge of rabbit welfare, such as holding education and training sessions. It would also enable us to run on site fundraising events and may enable us to provide boarding facilities to generate a sustainable, future income source.
Obviously, we like to dream big here at SNORS but we definitely have the drive and ambition to make this happen.
So, if you would like to help SNORS reach this goal or have ideas to help us move forward we’d love to hear from you.
